Spending Time in God’s Word Makes You Radiant and Healthy

My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. Proverbs 4:20-22

Beauty salons, and cosmetic surgeons cannot give you the radiant beauty that God can by the blood of His son Jesus Christ.

You can work out every single day and watch what you eat to try and make sure you are your best person mentally, emotionally and physically. These things are fine as we are called to be good stewards over the house of our bodies as Believers. However, only God’s Word…the Word that became flesh can satisfy your mouth with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s ( Psalm 103:5)

We are gorgeous and completely healthy when we reflect Jesus Christ.

When we take time each day and build ourselves up in the spirit, His Shekhina glory exudes from us. This glory is God’s very presence saturating us and it feels absolutely wonderful in every way.

There’s no fear and no lack in the presence of God so there’s no worry or stress which leads to sleepless nights, poor digestion and premature aging.

You become a calmer person and your lips become a honeypot bringing glory to the Lord and encouraging the Body of Christ as well as the world we are called to evangelize.

In His presence there is fullness of joy and that joy is contagious to every person and environment.

So how do you get to this point where your age is reversed and your three-part being is at rest? The answer is quite simple…which may be the reason why so many of us miss it.

Let your eyes see the Word of God every day, let your ears hear the Word of God every day and let your lips speak the Word of God every single day!

Make it Practical:

When you get up in the morning, take 2 minutes to read a Scripture pertaining to your stressful situation, or just one that your led to. Maybe the Lord has a Scripture on your heart…think on it, think about what the words mean…say it to yourself as often as you can remember.

The Holy Spirit does the teaching…I just do the sharing.

A Special Prayer for you: May You live to be 120 years old…eyes not dim, and strength not abated. May the Lord make His face to shine on you and give you peaceful rest in your soul, body and mind in Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
